Overall Thoughts

Grade: D for those who don’t like wedgies. I won’t beat around the bush and repeat the same complaints. The truth is, I don’t like the way these puppies fit.

Do you want to see more Underwear Thesis reviews?? Take a look at my earlier reviews.

When I first started this project, I posted to Instagram asking for recommendations of underwear you love… and if there was one overwhelming response, it was ARQ ! ARQ is the most loved underwear, their favorite and most important… it was well worth paying more. So naturally, I ordered some ARQ to do my ARQ review. Now, after months of washing and wearing them, and being the picky geek that I am, it’s finally time to share my review. Let’s dig in!

Knickey Underwear Review

A brand I’ve been asked for many times to help me with this project. Full disclosure: I did purchase several underwear from them, but they offered to send some for me to try. It was clear from me that they weren’t happy with my negative reviews. Although I feel strange about receiving a complimentary product in this series, I am not certain that it will be a regular occurrence. As I do every time, I tell you upfront when I get product. Let’s get to the Knickey review now!

This is what the underwear looks like in person

We love the flexibility and comfort of this thong.

A few underwear samples were sent by the brand to the Reviews team. The Parade Thong is my favorite, especially for working out. This is due to two things: the smooth, Spandex-like material feels cool and moisture-wicking. The band also doesn’t roll as you move. The socks are so comfortable that I don’t even remember I have them on, even when I am doing 45-minutes of exercise. It’s also great for day-to-day wear, as well as HIIT classes. However, you will be able to clearly see the sections of the thong under tight or thinner leggings because the seams have been slightly raised.

These pairs, in general, are comfortable, breathable and great for everyday wear. Their fit, performance, variety, and cost make them a good deal in our eyes.

The Bottom Line

A pair of $8 shoes is a bargain. Friends and relatives have also recommended the brand.

Parade provides affordable, simple, and fun underwear in an array of colors. We appreciate that the brand’s identity also feels relevant and positive prioritizing sustainable materials, donating to help fund sexual education, and dealing tactfully with important issues like body image and acceptance.

Parade underwear: An unsponsored and objective review

Hello all.

There’s more of this tiddy-ness than what we see in these parts. You may have seen me on Instagram, that I had an interest in changing my underwear at the start of 2018. It was also a great excuse to try out brands that claim to be “sustainable”, or that cater to a new generation of sustainable customers. I asked on socials what brands people were interested in seeing and took note but Parade was one of those ones that kept popping up on my own Instagram ads and it really appealed to my personal desires in undergarments so I went ahead and taught them out for my first review.

Let me start with Parade : Parade markets themselves as a size-inclusive, economically accessible, and earth-friendly brand of underwear for the hip and colorful folks out there. Their size range goes from xs to 3x, which to most of us seems pretty inclusive but personally I see room for growth there. They are obviously interested in inclusivity, which I find very encouraging. But in 2020, having a limit of 3x on your size would earn you a grade B+ for the plus-size state exam. They should be expanding their size range quickly, I believe.

Their sustainability is not something I am impressed with or deceived by. On their website’s mission page, you will find the following:

“For far too long, the responsibility of underwear companies to the earth has been ignored. Now, we are driving a revolutionary revolution towards a safer future.

Our core fabric, Replay, is made of 85% recycled polyamide and all of our materials are Oeko-Tex certified, meaning they’re free from harmful chemicals that pollute your skin and our waters. Our packaging is compostable.” I mean- good, we love to see it. As a sustainability-minded company, they are more likely to use recycled or eco-friendly materials to create their products. I also notice that the labor used to produce them tends to be paid a living or made in America. This leans toward the latter and their site didn’t provide much information about labor or production. They responded to my email, so I messaged them on Instagram.

This lack in accountability and response is not exciting. Spoiler alert: I really adore parade’s products but I’m definitely a bit weary with their inability to answer this simple question. With these reviews I’m not saying do or do not buy a companies product but I hope to give you all the information I have gathered as a researcher and also as a customer so you can make your own decisions. Take this information and make your own decisions.

What is a thong good for, if not to make your butt look great in yoga pants? The fabric is interestingly designed by former Lululemon experts. This is a good sign if you are a fan their famous luon fabrics.

Parade Re:Play Brief You can’t beat a classic. It’s all about the funky, lacy, and outrageous panties at a younger age. As we age, however, we learn to value a pair of comfy briefs.

Parade’s underwear review is a love letter to the brand. It takes an everyday, classic style and adds some flair. Even though the pair provides full coverage, they still have a soft and lightweight feel. This makes them great for wearing under clothes or while sleeping.

The undies are special and make you smile when you wear them.

Let’s Talk about Parade’s Size, Fit, & Styles

The size range for Parade underwear includes a size up to a size 3X, which is my size. It’s easy to wear, and I have added a couple of Parade boyshorts Parade shorts to my weekly rotation. The waistband, which they call FreeStretch, is engineered with sport-inspired performance stretch, to fit a much wider range of bodies comfortable.

The Parade size was true to my measurements.

It’s a shame that the Parade Underwear, which is high-waisted, doesn’t fit me as well. But the cut itself is so comfortable and the fabric doesn’t cause major visible panty lines. My 3X size is slightly larger than I was, and the waistline of my shorts does roll down. It doesn’t dig so it isn’t too annoying but not great.

There is still room for improvement in expanding the size of Parade to incorporate more plus-size women. Let Parade know if you don’t see your size in their catalog. This information was taken directly from Parade’s FAQs. If you have questions about how the sizes are sized or suggestions for improvements, send an email to hi@yourparade.com. Let me tell you about my Parade Plus size Underwear review. I enjoyed Parade’s boyshort and short for lazy Saturday mornings lounging around in the house. It is soft and very comfortable. They’re the only pair of my underwear that make me not feel uncomfortable. I look forward to them expanding their sizes, so more women can wear them!

The Hunt For The Best Underwear

NOTE: This is a blog that provides readers with more options for clothing. I have tried on many different styles to ensure I give them as much variety as I can. I do my best to note which items I have personally bought. Be aware that some items with a Buy rating might not be my own. If a clothing item is rated “Buy”, it means the garment meets my criteria for fitting. This blog post includes “affiliate Links” (i.e. This link has a tracking code. (AD). This photo shows me sporting the Third Love Seamless Lounge Bra. In exchange for my review, it was #gifted. Also, I am wearing the Parade Brief.

The most common question I get from my blog readers over the last year is “What kind of underwear should I wear?” And I totally get it finding underwear that makes you feel comfortable can be hard! Since high school, the underwear I have purchased from Victoria’s Secret has been my constant. I was shocked when the CEO started making derogatory remarks about plus-size women. I was tired of buying the same brands for over a decade and needed new experiences.

When it comes to underwear my preference is to wear beige or black because it works well under pretty much all color clothes. Also I’m a fan of full coverage, seamless styles that don’t show through my clothes. As they catch on my legs and become thongs, cheeky or bulky underwear is not for me. Again these are my preferences, but yours could be totally different and that’s fine! But I thought I’d mention my thoughts when I evaluated these options and gave them a rating!

Before we move on to the choices I made, I wanted to acknowledge my Instagrams fans for their advice and recommendations about brands I should try. I was truly inspired by your suggestions and am grateful for them!

Bust = 34” Waist= 28’s Stomach = 31;’ Hip = 32”, Thigh = 41” Hip = 42” Thigh= 22.25’s Calf = 12.25 ‘Inseam = 27 ‘Bicep = 9.5” Parade Short – Medium

The thing I liked… Comfy. I will be honest, I was worried that this brand would have too much hype and not enough substance. But boy was it amazing! They have won my trust and I will be keeping them. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the coverage. They fitted me perfectly and didn’t ride up.

Is Parade Underwear Good Quality?

They are made in the best quality. Every style that I tested is strong, durable and can be stretched without getting misshapen, popping a thread or becoming brittle. Even the mesh is tough. … It can be difficult to obtain a high quality mesh with consistency in quality. Parade delivers and this is what I am most impressed with. Mar 3, 2021

Does Parade Underwear Run Big?

The nylon is very comfy throughout the day. It makes me forget about the underwear all day. The nylon may stretch over time and become looser, but in my experience, Parade’s underwear sizes fit true to size.

Is Parade Underwear Good For Working Out?

This brand provided a handful of samples for the Reviews team to try, and I’ve been using the Parade Thong as my go-to underwear during workouts. The main reason is the fabric, which is similar to Spandex and is very breathable and cool. It doesn’t roll as you move.

What is Parade Underwear made of?

Parade underwear made from recycled materials & textiles: nylon for softness, nylon lining for breathability and spandex to provide comfortable stretch.
