Can I Return An Opened Mattress To Walmart?

Walmart is unlikely to accept mattress returns that have been taken from the original packaging.

This is mainly due to the fact that there have been many occurrences of customers returning unhygienic mattresses that cannot be touched, or customers that take advantage of the return policy.

Even if the mattress has been opened, Walmart may allow you to return it. These include:

A mattress that is defective, has loose springs, or is uneven

You shouldn’t buy a mattress with a bad smell.

It is a good idea to save receipts from large items in case of need.

Walmart wants mattress returns to come with a receipt. They may, however, be willing and able to accept return of mattress items without receipts.

In order to be able to track your purchase history, it is important that you bring along the receiptless refund form.

Walmart stores will only allow around three receiptless returns to be made in a 90 day period (or you may receive a Walmart return wanting), and any receiptless returns made over the value of $25 will not be refunded, and can only be exchanged.

In some instances, items can be returned to Walmart within 90 days.

Do You Have the Right to Return an Air mattress To Walmart?

Air mattresses can be returned to Walmart if you still have the original purchase receipt and it is in a reasonable condition. Air mattresses, unlike ordinary mattresses, can in fact be returned with packaging opened.

You should use this method sparingly as Walmart can keep track how many returns without receipts you make and might limit your future returns if you misuse this system.
