After much research, I finally found everything!

Walmart has a 2022 return policy that does not require a box to be opened or a box.

Walmart will accept returns of damaged packaging and open boxes, provided that a receipt can be presented to prove purchase. The customer has 90 days to return an item and receive a refund. The following products cannot be returned without an enclosed box or opened: DVDs, videos games and mattresses

Walmart Does Not Allow You to Return an Item

Some reports claim you cannot return the product to Walmart without the original package. We found that it is not true.

Walmart merchandise will most likely have unique barcodes and identifying stickers that are unique to Walmart.

Walmart will accept returns even though you do not have the packaging or box. As long as the company can locate one of the unique stickers, barcodes or identifiers they provide, the item may be returned.

But, to verify that your item was bought from Walmart you will need a receipt.

You may also be eligible for store credit if the original packaging/box is still in its original condition. Walmart will scan the barcode on the packaging to determine if it’s valid.

Which Items can’t be returned unopened?

Walmart offers a wide range of returns options, and is very flexible about them. But there are many items that you cannot return to the store, including those opened or in their original packaging.

Walmart can refuse to accept returns for any reason

Walmart has a flexible returns policy. Customers can return almost all items within 90 days of purchase. Sometimes, customers can return the item without needing a receipt.

Walmart store managers are able to use their own discretion in deciding whether or not to allow specific return requests. Some managers might even agree to allow return requests beyond the 90-day period.

It is best to try in your local store, and find out if they will allow you to make a return. Try the nearest Walmart if you are not satisfied. They may make another decision.

How long does a Walmart return take to process?

Walmart will usually process your refund within several days of you returning the item.

Walmart refunds can take up to five business days to reach you bank account. They will then be sent to your original card with which you paid for the items.
