This device is easy to use, and not much different than the others. It holds 300g, which is about 2 cups. This babycook’s functionality and design are similar to the Beaba Babycook. The sleek, low-profile body is complemented by a big, easy-to use button up top. The button can be used to blend or steam, and the button pushes to turn it on to activate. The lid, container, steamer basket, and blade are all dishwasher safe, and the blade pops out of the container for more thorough cleaning. BPA-free all parts which come in contact food are free from lead and phthalates. The quiet motor, ease in refilling water and small footprint of this unit were some other features we loved. It was easy to understand once we did. It is very flexible. You can steam three different levels at once – for example, we placed sweet potatoes in one of the bottoms, broccoli in another, and peas on top. Three different sizes are available for the three stacking containers. First, there is the large one that holds 750mL. Next is the medium size (350mL), while the top is smaller (150mL). It is possible to use the tower as a fitting platform for bottles that need sterilizing or heating/reheating. This can be used as a sterilizer, steamer and warmer. Our reviews of the best baby warmers will help you choose. After the sweet potatoes had been steamed for 15 minutes, we tried out the blender to create a tasty puree. In addition to the basic steaming feature, you can also use a defrost and reheat function, both of which worked really well in our testing. It was made of stainless steel, and was very sharp. The blender blade blended all the ingredients into the mixture without leaving chunks. The glass baby food makers were quieter than the plastic ones. It is likely that glass has better insulation (sound, temperature) properties than plastic. Speaking of glass, this is a great option for parents concerned about BPA and phthalates, or other plastic chemicals leaching into foods while you’re steaming; glass effectively solves that problem, as does the stainless steel steaming basket. Reliability

Similar to ordinary steamers and food processors, reports have been made of motors that smoke, melt plastics, rapidly dulled blades or break clips. However, some systems seem to have more trouble than others and other systems offer excellent warranties that can be honored. Our recommended systems are known for their reliability and high customer satisfaction. This is to make it clear: Any baby food maker equipped with steaming will result in scaling, discoloration, hard water staining, or even slimy buildup.

Always use only distilled water. This is an easy mistake to make, but it will be a pain in the rear end. After a while your system starts getting really disgusting and you have to stop using tap or bottled water.

Second, regularly clean the water reservoir with white vinegar and a sponge or baby bottle brush.

Third, after every 5-10 uses or so, fill the water reservoir with white vinegar and run the system through its entire cycle.
