How does Publix dress code for 2022 look?
Publix’s dress code includes a green-collared blouse, black or charcoal pants, and shoes of approved colors for each department. Apron and slip-resistant shoes are required by some departments. You’re allowed facial hair, tattoos, and facial piercings, but you cannot have outlandish colored hair or long nails.
What’s the Publix Uniform?
Publix supplies two blouses, two aprons and two collared shirt. You must however purchase your pants and shoes.
Publix has additional pieces that you can buy for your uniform. Starbucks baristas will also be provided with Starbucks balls caps that have the logo.
What shoes are you required to wear when shopping at Publix
Employees at Publix who work in the bakery, produce, fish, meat and bakery departments must wear slip-resistant shoes.
Publix employees in other departments do not need to have slip-resistant shoes, but everyone must follow the same guidelines when it comes to colors.
You can make the shoes non-athletic, athletic or both. But non-athletic sneakers must be grey, tan dark brown dark blue white black or cordovan.
Athletic shoes also come in black, off-white, and white colors.
What type of Pants Does Publix Staff Wear?
Publix employees cannot wear khaki or black pants. It all depends on which department they are in.
Also, pants cannot show underwear, or be too tight, or they will not drag.
Employees must wear pants that are at least waist high and have a belt if there is a loop.
What kind of shirt do employees at Publix wear?
The green shirt must have a collar. It must be button-down.
The shirts should be kept neat and clean.
Do You Have to Wear a Sweatshirt Under Your Publix Uniform
Over your Publix uniform you can wear sweatshirts, sweaters, jackets or jackets. But they must not be black, dark brown, gray and white. But, you can’t wear a jacket or hooded sweater.
You also must make sure that your name tag is still visible if you’re wearing a jacket, sweater, or sweatshirt.
A T-shirt can be worn under your Publix outfit.

Can I Wear a Ball Cap Working at Publix?
For certain employees, such as Front Service Clerks, you can wear a ball cap, but they must be purchased through the Publix supplier.
Also, you cannot wear the Publix knit caps all the time.
Starbucks baristas may also sport ball caps. They will be provided to them by Publix.
Publix will not allow you to wear a ballcap if you don’t work in an approved area.
Can You Wear Earrings Working at Publix?
You are allowed to wear earrings while working at Publix, but you cannot have more than 4 piercings per ear and they cannot be gauged more than three quarter inches.
Publix: Can you wear long nails?
Publix does not allow for anyone to wear long nails while being employed there, and all nails need to be kept clean and look presentable.
Can you get tattoos while working at Publix
While you can have tattoos, most Publix locations ask that you cover your tattoos while at work, although some managers don’t care if your tattoo is visible.
While the policies vary between stores, the rule of thumb is that vulgar tattoos and ones that contain nudity must be covered.
Can You Have Facial Piercings Working at Publix?
You can have two facial piercings including eyebrow, bite piercings, tongue piercings, and nose piercings. A septum piercing is not allowed and only one tongue piercing can be done.
